TYPE RATING

Contrary to airplanes, each helicopter is considered a separate type.

The helicopters are very different from each other, so for each of them you need to do a type rating.

During type rating, an examination must be taken of the theoretical material of the given type and application for practical exam can be done after 10 flight hours.

Prerequisites

  • Valid EASA PPL(H)
  • Valid Class II. Medical Certificate

Training Includes

  • Theory Training (if it is needed)

  • 5 / 8 hours flight time

  • Authority exam
